Just a few guidelines you will need to follow to make sure that your topic will not be binned.
♦ No questions.
Please refrain from asking questions about the site or how it works in your intro. If you have a question then please PM me. I will have the most correct and direct answer. This will also save you looking like a forum newbie.
♦ No suggestions.
Suggestions go in the suggestion section. Simple as that. If I see a suggestion in an introduction, It will be binned.
♦ No generic topic name.
Try hard to avoid:
"Hi"
"Hi there"
Or anything along those line.
Try something like:
"Hi, this forum looks cool."
"Hi, this place is alright."
"I ready to kick some monster ass."
"Meet this artist."
"Icwatchudidthar."
Anything interesting, go nuts
♦ No tiny posts.
Please keep them over a few words, details would be cool.
Something like this will be binned or deleted:
"Hey, i'm new."
"Leaving forever, goodbye."
Details are needed for introductions or departures.
Something like this is short but around this or better would be fine:
"Hey, i'm new here. Really psyched to get active and play this RPG (Or "show-off my work"). Got this site from an advert, looked cool.
Also information like this added is perfectly good:
"I'm (Username) on (Site or Message Board), got this site from a friend.
In this sort of case, knowing that you are from another site community is very good, knows that you know how to behave already.
Remember if you have refered a friend, please have them contact me with your username and all that and I will award you EXP towards your next character level.
